BENEFITS OF PREPARATION - TO SERVE MY CLIENTS

I was asked by my clients, who reside out of state, to provide insight on various lots in the greater Phoenix area.

My research required a tour of 20 lots in 3 communities and 5 developments.

In addition to sharing my findings via email in advance of their arrival, I delivered a leather portfolio (site maps, recent closings, active listings, and my comments) to a luxury Scottsdale resort where my clients would be staying for less than 48 hours.

As I was driving away, I thought I might have overdone my preparation....perhaps a manilla folder with MLS profiles and notes would have been adequate.

The benefit for me; I knew I was prepared and could provide insight on each lot. I also knew my efforts afforded a high level of confidence when meeting and guiding my new clients.

I received a thank you message for the summary I had shared via email prior to their visit. But no additional words were needed to be spoken or heard, as my clients referred to the portfolio throughout our tour.

I made a decision to be prepared, to serve my clients with high-touch and valuable insight; which led my clients and me to establish an immediate level of trust. So very valuable for the 3 of us.

I'm pleased to report our initial meeting and tour went exceedingly well.
